London, August 05 : U.S. President Barack Obama celebrated his 50th birthday at the White House on Thursday amidst a firestorm of policy and politics.
Senior members of staff gathered to toast the US President in the Blue Room of the White House, before he moved on to celebrate the evening with close friends and family in Washington. His elder daughter, Malia, 13, made the trip home from summer camp to join the party, reports the Daily Express.
