Sarah Jessica Parker's son wants to act

London, Aug 23 : Actress Sarah Jessica Parker has revealed that her eight-year-old son James Wilkie has expressed his desire to act.

The 46-year-old, who has three children James, and two-year-old twins Marion and Tabitha with actor husband Matthew Broderick, said he is eager to start auditioning.

"I don't want him to do it until after he goes to college," Parker told Parade magazine.

"But part of me thinks maybe it's better if he knows the truth now about how hard it is to be a working actor. I don't know if he grasps what it took to get us here," she added.

It was reported earlier that the New York foursome would be reunited in a new season of the hit television series.Now the star has put an end to the speculations by saying that the ‘Sex And The City’ cast are set for a come back on the both the big and small screens.

“There is. I know what the story is. It’s a small story, but I think it should be told,” the Daily Mail quoted Parker as saying in an interview with U.S. magazine Parade.

“The question is, what’s the right time to tell it?,” she added.

The actress'' intriguing quotes added to an already exciting news week for SATC fans after it was reported that creator Darren Star plans to bring back the iconic series to TV.

“Ultimately Darren Star– the man who created the hit series – will have the overall say, but everyone is agreed a TV show is the direction they want to take the franchise in,” said a source.

“Sarah Jessica Parker will be producing. She was worried about doing another film after the bad reaction to the SATC2 movie, but a TV show is definitely something she wants to happen,” the source added.

London, August 4 : Sarah Jessica Parker has revealed that she and her actor husband Matthew Broderick keep the pressures of life at bay by choosing not to discuss their marriage.

“We don’t talk about our marriage a lot, which is probably wise,” the Daily Mail quoted the 46-year-old ‘Sex And The City’ star as admitting to Marie Claire magazine.

“There are so many other things in our lives that take precedence over the splitting of the atom of our marriage,” she added.

Parker and ‘Ferris Bueller’ star Broderick, 49, married in May 1997 and have three children together - James Wilke, 8, and two-year-old twins Tabitha and Marion.
