Kim Kardashian sets 'black or white' dress code for wedding guests

Melbourne, Aug17 : Reality star Kim Kardashian has reportedly set a strict dress code for her upcoming nuptials – she has asked her guests to wear only black or white, with no exceptions.

This suggest the star will buck the trend of a traditional white gown when she walks down the aisle to marry Kris Humphries on August 20, said a wedding guest Kathie Lee Gifford.

“Kim knows better than anyone how to stay dramatic and there is no way she would let herself blend in with everyone else at her wedding by wearing a white dress,” News.com.au quoted Gifford as telling The Huffington Post.

“If I know her, I bet she will wear red or some colour so she pops against everyone else who will be in black or white,” she stated.

While it has been widely reported that Kardashian will be dressed in Vera Wang, all other details of the designer gown have been kept closely under wraps

Tyra Banks gives wedding gown advice to Kim Kardashian

Washington, Aug 16 : Tyra Banks has revealed that she offered some guidance to her pal Kim Kardashian on wedding dress choices.

The 37-year-old American supermodel also said that she suggested to the 30-year-old bride-to-be to go with a silhouette that the world isn't used to seeing her in.

"I gave [Kim] the advice of going with a silhouette that the world isn't used to seeing her in," People magazine quoted her as saying.

"So we'll see," she said.

Regarding how the American socialite would look in her Vera Wang gown on her wedding day, her pal seems to have a pretty good idea from the elaborate fittings.

"What she showed me was so beautiful," Banks said.

"It's interesting because they were pictures from a fitting, but it actually looked like the wedding, like her hair was done. So it was like a real almost dress rehearsal and she looked absolutely beautiful," she added.

Kim Kardashian yet to decide on her and Kris Humphries' 1st dance song

Washington, August 08 : Looks like Kim Kardashian wants everything to be perfect during her wedding to Kris Humphries' on August 20.

Almost everything is in place for the couple's nuptials, except for the newlyweds' first dance song, which is why the bride- to-be took to the help of Twitter to find the perfect song.

"Ok guys please help! We still haven't chosen our 1st dance song! Any suggestions? So many good songs!" Usmagazine quoted the E! star as tweeting.

Big sister Kourtney jokingly tweeted back, "How about "ICE ICE BABY?" while Lisa Rinna responded with " Will Always Love You' by Whitney Houston written by Dolly Parton. Such a gorgeous song for a first dance!"

Meanwhile, fans also suggested ballads like Etta James' "At Last" and "When a Man Loves a Woman" by Percy Sledge.

No word on whether or not Kardashian, 30, and Humphries, 26, have decided on their first-dance tune. But Kardashian did send out a follow-up tweet saying, "I am seeing all of your songs for my 1st dance and loving all of the suggestions! You guys are so helpful! Thank you soooo much!"

Washington, August 4 : Kim Kardashian has revealed that she has chosen the perfume she will be wearing on her wedding day, a fragrance made specifically for the event.

The fragrance that has been made especially for her wedding day is made from pink freesia, jasmine and sandalwood.

“My wedding day is going to be really special. My fragrance [Love by Kim Kardashian] will be a keepsake I can keep for years, and I am excited to be able to share it with my fans,” Us magazine quoted her as saying.

The 30-year-old socialite launched the soft, feminine scent on August 3, exclusively on kardashianfragrance.com, with the perfume in a crystal encrusted glass bottle kept in a velvet-finish box – similar to that of a ring.

There are 1000 bottles of the super limited edition, one is for Kardashian to wear on her D-day, 200 for her guests during her bridal shower, and 799 are for sale at the price of 100 dollars per bottle.
